短評：仍然是林子祥。實不相瞞，林子祥是我最喜歡的男歌手（湊巧我最喜歡的女歌手都是姓林，要到80年代中期才會出現，應該不難估吧），所以這裡會充斥著阿Lam的歌，希望不會悶壞大家…

今次要介紹的歌是《畫家》，旋律深刻動聽，很多人都會一聽愛上。改編自Paul Anka《The Painter》，但不知何解中文版沒有了原曲結尾一段的純音樂，唱完「那創作誰能計算價值」便戛然而止，沒有了一種藝術被延續的感覺，有點美中不足。

但歌詞方面，鄭國江的翻譯則比原詞更好，尤其是最後一句歌詞，原曲是"While he lives the price they give is small"，實在太普通，作為結尾甚至被重唱的一句，有點虎頭蛇尾。鄭sir的版本則是「那創作誰能計算價值」，層次高得多了。整體歌詞也寫得非常好，深刻地描述了畫家的外冷內熱。表面上，他「冷眼看世界」、「看透了世間萬物」、「不爭那身外物」，但內心卻「熱烈似火」、「溢著狂熱愛」、「與萬物並存在」。

很多人都說這首歌是說梵高，我卻覺得不一定，可以是任何一個孤高的畫家。或許「瘋癲中溢著狂熱愛」太適合形容梵高吧。
