短評：第一次聽林子祥的《一個人》已極喜歡，覺得無論旋律、歌詞及編曲都非常浪漫，是一首很有「法國風」的情歌。尤其是「啦啦啦...」跟結他前奏一響起，那種歐陸情懷真的濃得化不開。當時只知道它的原曲是一首法文歌，及曲風跟林子祥的《我要走天涯》很相似，其他的都不清楚了。後來才知道兩首歌根本是出自同一人手筆，就是Peter Yarrow - Peter, Paul and Mary的那個Peter。怪不得那麼像！而我不知他們會唱法文...

雖然這不是一首翻譯歌（原曲《Mon Vrai Destin》"My True Destiny"不是情歌），但相信鄭國江填詞時都有受原曲歌詞影響，例如第一句"Dans mes rêves"(即in my dreams)變成「夢裡隱隱」，「其實你又似命運」明顯來自歌名"destin"。整首歌的詞不斷重覆「似」，又「夢裡」又「看不清」又「看不真」，朦朦朧朧恍恍惚惚，令我想起少年時候常做的一個夢，夢中有位「女神」常在我身邊，但我永遠看不清她的容貌。究竟我是真的做夢，還是當時太渴望戀愛，日思夜想自以為做了夢？

短評：小時候已十分喜愛這首《不要離去》，臨睡前常常把這首歌播一次才去睡覺，即使長大後出來工作了也是如此。成家立室後，兒子幾歲大時，偶然會陪他睡覺，我會輕聲地哼著這曲的調子，伴他入眠。

短評：葉振棠的《天長地久》改編自耳熟能詳的《Longer》，中文版不算大熱，但絕對屬上乘之作。細心留意歌詞，會發現中文歌詞和英文歌詞幾乎一模一樣，無論意思、用字、押韻，都配合得天衣無縫，可謂鄭國江翻譯歌的代表作！且看這幾句chorus：
「冬天 燃亮愛火給你
春天 小雨因你輕輕降
秋天 炎夏挽手跟你
同飛 天上」

原文是：

短評：陳迪匡和他的首本名曲《傷心的小鸚鵡》從來沒大紅大紫過，但當年收音機常常播，證明DJ們都喜愛這首歌。而這首歌旋律清新、歌詞可愛、演繹率真，的確很討人歡心。

我特別把英文原曲《Me and the Elephant》的歌詞都加在這裡，大家可看到鄭國江的歌詞和原曲頗為相似，基本上算是翻譯歌，只是為了遷就音韻才換了動物名字，如把大象換成鸚鵡。但細心留意下，會發現鄭sir在兩段chorus內加了點心思，就是「哪」和「那」二字。英文原曲中，友人(女朋友?)離開後迅即被所有動物(除了大象)遺忘，第一和第二段沒什麼分別。但在鄭sir的詞裡，第一段是這樣的：「離別妳 哪隻畜生不悲傷 我每次都會抱抱那白綿羊」，而第二段卻是這樣的：「無奈那 那隻畜牲不悲傷 我要再緊抱 妳抱過那白綿羊」。即是說第一段時，動物們還掛念著她，但到了第二段，動物們都忘記她了，除了歌者和大象。「哪」和「那」在這裡實在用得巧妙。
